Accessibility
FirmsVault is building its public and authenticated experiences with accessibility as a product requirement and WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the engineering target.
Our commitment
FirmsVault is committed to making its public website, legal directory, Firm Command Center, and Client Portal usable by people with disabilities. Our engineering target is to support the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where applicable.
This statement expresses a design and engineering target; it is not a claim that every FirmsVault page currently conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA. Conformance should only be claimed after representative production pages and responsive states have been audited and material failures have been corrected.
Accessibility measures
Our accessibility work is intended to include the following practices as the product is developed and tested.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, dialogs, forms, and application controls.
- Visible focus indicators and logical focus movement.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, names, roles, and states that can be interpreted by assistive technology.
- Text alternatives for meaningful non-text content and appropriate treatment of decorative imagery.
- Color and contrast choices that do not rely on color alone to communicate important state.
- Responsive layouts that remain usable at increased text size and zoom.
- Reduced-motion behavior for people who prefer less animation.
- Accessible validation, error, and status messaging for forms and workflows.
Compatibility and testing
FirmsVault should be tested with current major browsers, keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader workflows, zoom, mobile devices, and reduced-motion settings. Accessibility testing should be part of release QA rather than treated as a one-time design review.
Known limitations and ongoing work
FirmsVault is under active development. Some prototype or newly introduced experiences may not yet meet the target level, especially complex dialogs, data visualizations, interactive maps, or third-party components. Known barriers should be tracked, prioritized, and remediated rather than hidden behind a general accessibility claim.
Accessibility feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email hello@firmsvault.com and include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, the problem you encountered, and—if you are comfortable sharing it—the browser or assistive technology you were using. We will use that information to investigate and improve the experience.
